Inspiration
A selection of books and podcasts that have inspired me and made me think. This list is not exhaustive and will evolve over time. I hope it will inspire you too!
Books
One of my favourite music books that takes you deep into those incredible recording years. For me, there is a before and after to the Beatles in recorded music. This book also revolutionised my approach to music in the studio.
A must have for all those who like to tell stories and who are interested in their structures, their common points. For me music is also about telling a story.
It is thanks to this book that my solo adventure began. A book that inspired me in my approach to creation, that changed my approach. It deals with non-duality in Taoism, a subject that fascinates me.
Death, the end, is difficult to talk about, to think about. Yet it is inevitable. A complex book which deals with the meaning of death in the Tibetan tradition, its role, how to apprehend it. Learning to die is, I think, above all learning to live.
I have nothing to say about this book, but it is next to my bed and I often read a story before going to bed.
Being a vegetarian since I was 20 or 21, this book was a gift from my brother who must have found that when I cooked, it was never very good. I think I've improved now!
Podcasts
I love Jay Shetty's podcasts, I've watched so many that I don't know which to recommend...
But the one with Djokovic, I remember finding it exciting.
The one with Andrew Huberman too.
And the last one with Neha Kumar too.
The titles may sound pompous and click-baiting, but the content is often exciting.
